Your dal is not in an American calorie database.

Nutrition Cue is built on real Indian food with real portions, and it comes with a real nutritionist who reads your week and tells you what to change.

Your cue
You are 37g short on protein and it is 6pm. A bowl of curd or a paneer dinner closes most of it.

One email when it opens. Nothing else, ever.

Real recipes, weighed. Not guessed from a photo.

The honest problem

You have downloaded a calorie app before. You stopped in nine days.

Not because you lack discipline. Because three specific things were wrong with it.

01

The food was never really in there

You searched “sambhar” and picked whichever of forty user-submitted guesses looked plausible. Every number after that was fiction, and some part of you knew it.

02

Logging cost more than it gave back

Four taps a meal to be told a number you could not act on. The work was daily and the payoff was theoretical.

03

Nobody was ever going to read it

You kept a diary for an audience of nobody. A chart is not advice, and a streak is not a plan.

What Cue does

Log it in seconds. Get told what to do about it.

Logging

Type it like you would say it

“2 chapati, dal, bhindi, curd” is a complete entry

Or photograph the plate

For when you are out and cannot describe it

An Indian food database

Real recipes, real portions, not 100g abstractions

Your targets

Set from a real intake

Goal, body, activity, what you are managing. Five minutes, once

Daily and weekly, not just daily

One heavy dinner does not ruin anything

Weight and measurements

A trend over months, not one morning’s number

What to do next

Cues, not scolding

Before your next meal, while you can still act

Ask it anything

Answered against your targets, not general advice

What to cook tonight

Fits what you have eaten and what you can eat at all

The part no free app has

A qualified nutritionist actually reads your week.

The AI handles counting, pattern-spotting and the nudge at 6pm. Once a week a real person looks at what you ate, what moved and what did not, and changes your targets.

That is the difference between an app that counts and a plan that adapts. It is also why we are not free.

Protein came in under target five days out of six, and it is always the evening that slips. I have moved your protein target earlier in the day rather than raising it — getting 25g at breakfast will be easier than fixing dinner.

Why we built it

One of us had to learn all of this the hard way.

At 21

Shubham was diagnosed with diabetes.

HbA1c of 13.7, where under 5.7 is normal. Sugar after meals hitting 380–390. Forty units of insulin a day, four injections, one before every meal. The nutritionist’s answer ran to pages.

Ten months of measuring

Continuous monitors, finger-prick tests, and a chart of every meal.

Which food did what to him, at which hour, in what quantity. Ten months later he was managing it on diet and exercise, without medication, with normal levels.

Nutrition Cue is that process, automated. The measuring, the pattern-finding, the weekly adjustment — done for you instead of learned from scratch.

Shubham’s results are his own and are not a prediction of anyone else’s. Nutrition Cue is not a treatment and does not replace your doctor.

Built for people with something specific to manage.

Diabetes, pre-diabetes, thyroid, PCOS, high cholesterol, or a doctor who told you to change your diet and did not say how. Cue is designed around those constraints rather than treating them as an afterthought to a weight-loss app. If you are here for general fitness, it works for that too — it is just not who we built it for first.

If you are in Bengaluru

Or skip the logging entirely.

The Healthy Craft delivers fresh, pure vegetarian meals across Indiranagar and nearby areas — planned around the same targets Cue sets for you. Because we cooked them, we know their exact numbers, so those meals log themselves the moment they arrive.

Nothing to type, nothing to photograph, nothing to estimate. Cue is included with a meal plan.

Cue is live inside The Healthy Craft app today. The standalone version opens shortly, and the waitlist goes first.

We have not set the price yet. It will be an add-on for meal subscribers and a standalone plan for everyone else. The waitlist hears first, before anyone.
